Waste Management
Ever aware of our environment, Hornbees Ltd have long been associated with recycling and the reclamation of building, construction and demolition waste.
We operate a fleet of modern vehicles; capable of delivering a wide variety of skips and roll on-off bins. In addition to contract work, we also have our own recycling capabilities for sorting, recycling and transportation to tip in bulk and we are actively involved in partnerships on landfill operations.
The specialist plant holding in this area of our operation includes crushing and screening plants for general construction and demolition waste processing and trommels suited to fine screening for sand, gravel and topsoil reclamation. Hornbees Ltd policy of continuous improvement means you can rely on modern, effective plant. Materials handling equipment for our recycling processes, comprises of wheeled loading shovels, a range of tracked excavators with fully automatic quick-hitches and a whole armoury of specialist attachments including magnets, shears and grabs.
Plant Hire
Relentless investment ensures that our customers are consistently provided with the most modern, environmentally friendly and cost effective machines available in the current market. Our fully trained and experienced operators are available with the machines or, if required, customers can provide their own operators. Preventive maintenance and inspection are regularly carried out. However, in the unlikely event of mechanical problems, downtime is kept to a minimum by our team of mobile field service engineers. All available for short, medium or long-term hire. All equipment is supplied to site using our own heavy haulage low loaders.

Our expertise is to provide unrivalled preconstruction advice and services in sensitive and highly regulated and constrained environments on projects ranging from city centre developments, rail infrastructure, where health and safety, security and environmental controls have to be managed to the highest levels. In addition to our inner city projects we have wide ranging demolition, deconstruction and dismantling experience in all environments and sectors including rail, heavy industrial, defence, public utilities, health and education and work closely with clients (both public and private), from the inception of a project, through initial guidance, outline and detailed proposals, designs and third party approvals to the safe and successful delivery on site.
Enabling Works
In terms of site enabling works, Hornbees provides a number of services, including site establishment, site security, logistics solutions, investigations and surveys, hazardous material removal, remediation, site clearance, archaeological and heritage attendance, utilities isolations and diversions and site clearance. These can be delivered as one-off provisions, or as part of an integrated service offering that provides clients with a confident and assured start to a project. The various enabling works we provide can also be incorporated with our demolition and groundworks services to provide an integrated package solution; offering potential significant programme and cost benefits to a project.

Who Are We?
Hornbees was established in 2011 by owner Sam Davies.
Starting as a haulage & plant hire company specialising in waste removal & material delivery to construction sites in London and South East areas.
As the company began to grow from strength to strength, Hornbees moved into more specialist areas of Civil Engineering & Demolition offering clients a complete package of works.
